Love this anime and this is today focus of the post. Let’s get into it
The Wars between Vampires and Humans are actually not over, they just got transferred
to be played in Astral and Mental Planes now.
They are played in hidden layer of Astra and Mental.
Vampires found a better way to extract life giving force from us.
Without sneaking up and biting you in a neck.
They simply sneak up on you by thoughts, desires, pushing your buttons to invoke
certain emotions so they can harvest the energy of you.

With this into being said.
This beautiful anime externalized all those concept and shows it to us thru awesome story.
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust IMO is multilayered (as all good movies are).
If you want to focus on surface lvl and just admire incredible art work.
The 2000 sequel Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is noted for its meticulously hand-drawn frames, with critics praising the earthiness and physical texture of the hand-painted scenes before the industry fully transitioned to digital techniques.
In early 2000s boom of CGI and digital coloring.
The “D” Hunter carries his burden very well
Idk his origins (I didn’t read books),
but as from my grasp- he totally is taking on his burden, and does it without complain.
What do I mean:
He is half human and half vampire.
He despises vampires behavior and hunts them down, but he also accepts the fact
that even tho he provides valuable service to humans,
they despise him and never accepted him as his own.
He goes on a lives in between worlds, neither claiming him and accepting him.
And he is ok with that.
He doesn’t go around trying to convince humans that he is one of them, and desperately
looking for their approval. “D” doesn’t organizes lectures showing various evidences
that he is safe to be around. He doesn’t despises them back, (as it could be justified)
or even talking back to them (the scene with an old man revealing that he was saved by D),
he just quietly takes it. Allowing their hate, allowing their fear onto him.
But he doesn’t clings to it, he is completely depolarized. Neither against them, neither with them.
He probably carries deeper understanding and knowing.
So how this ‘key’ translates to spiritual journey and human life.
Spiritual Key
As you go deeper and deeper on the human journey of your soul and develop deeper understanding of things.
As simply put become- AWAKE. You will start to experience wider separation between your circles of friends and family. The gap and tension becoming bigger and bigger as you can see that they simply vibrating at different levels, and they can’t understand what you do.
You slowly start to withdraw, you slowly quieting down, you stopped preaching
and helping others (as you realized the efforts are futile). And it’s too late to go back living in ignorance.
You opened this door and walked thru it.
Maybe you have spilled too much and now you have to carry a label of being “weird” “crazy” “living in his own world” (like aren’t we all lol)
Topics you discussed are being publicly ridiculed, and you know where this is going.
We all know that this is their own insecurities, their of fears of unknown projected onto you. It’s really more about them than it is about you. But still, even we know that- it might hurt. And it’s so easy to despise them and hate them for it- hate their ignorant mindset. But you won’t do it! Forgiveness post
Because you are a ‘D hunter’ !
You take on this burden proudly of living between the worlds!
Of simply letting them go at you, not because you’re weak. It’s because you are MUCH Stronger than them. Because you taking on this responsibility, you are ok with being not liked.
Even tho it feels like a lonely journey and you haven’t met anyone like you, you still carry your gift and knowing of who you are. Just like a D.
That brings another topic, why AWAKEN people are usually soo spread out in the world, while others
tend to find their tribes quickly and stick together.
Well, we are spread out because there can only be 1 D Hunter in the Village 🙂
We need to shine bright and carry on our mission by Embodying it- not by telling.
And know that when we all come home- the reunion will be GRAND!
So be the D in “your village” , embrace your uniqueness. Carry your gift shine and bright.
let the hate and ignorance glide right down off of you. With actually forgiveness in your heart.

The Talking Hand
The D has this talking left palm of his hand.
For purpose of this post- let’s ignore all “proven reasons” (from the books etc)
of why and what that talking hand exactly is.
I wanna have a look at this from different perspective and share some of my thoughts about it.
IMO the ‘talking hand’ is symbol of human ego, the conscious mind that constantly narrates our existence.
That constant chatter in our mind, that builds patterns, that is trying to protect us, that remembers
the dangers and creates survival systems around them.
Did you notice that D never reacts to it?
He never argues with it or provides justification for his actions.
He only uses it to SERVE HIM…
LET THAT SINK IN:
HE ONLY USES IT TO SERVE HIM.
The hand is not his master, D doesn’t follow it’s ever-changing whiffs and fears.
That is just perfect lesson how, WE should be using our conscious side of the mind.
“He” is there to serve us! He is there to follow the higher intuition- not question it.
